Hello....I am looking for any suggestions...I know an older lady who is disabled and who has recently taken in and taken on a bird and since .....has fallen in love with it...she is on a very limited income.. and is trying to do the best she can....I'm trying to do the best i can to help her or give suggestions and options..well.. so the situation is...the birds beak...really badly needs a proper trimming.. as it is very super long and curved. I did do some calling around..and will be doing more as it is back to a regular work week and no longer a weekend. Lot of vets I called... do not do small birds... and then the one I did speak to.. told me in order to do any bird beak trimming they also do and charge for a exam fee too..was quoted ..and was quite pricey.... anyone that may have a small cockatiel have any other suggestions...options,, or price ranges for .??.. to consider
