Nielsen Brothers, Inc. or NBI is owned by two brothers and a partner, who began operations in 1979 and incorporated in 1990. The Nielsen brothers are Pacific Northwest natives who share a combined 60+ years in the logging and forest management industry. Since its inception NBI has been conducting contract logging services for major timberland owners, as well as harvesting their own timber. NBI’s skilled workforce includes forestry experts with extensive and broad based experience in timber cruising, logging including cable and ground-based systems, harvest layout, road construction, rock crushing, timber valuations and sales. NBI custom harvests over 60 MMBF annually on both public and private lands. With an administrative office located in Bellingham and an operations facility based out of Sedro Woolley, Nielsen Brothers conducts logging operations and manages forest lands primarily in the northwest corner of Washington State.
