Company Description

Members of SW@Home are age 55 and older and for a reasonable annual fee have access to volunteer services, a roster of trusted businesses (some of them offering discounts), and social activities. Supporting members are any age and can use the list of trusted businesses and are invited to all social activities, but receive no volunteer help. Volunteers are any age as well, and will help members with small home and garden chores, errands, rides, daily check-ins or weekly visits, help with pets or technology, or whatever the volunteer wants to offer.
Membership in SW@Home whether full or supporting is $240/household, though supporting members may deduct $200 from their taxes as a donation. The program is in development and plans to be up and running in mid-2016. Watch for member and volunteer applications to go out in late winter.
