This year for Christmas, my husband and I are taking my parents up to Bellingham ( willing to go further north for an awesome place ) to stay for a night and have a nice dinner. I need suggestions for a hotel and dinner. I have been looking at hotels for weeks and cant seem to find anywhere I really want to stay. I so have zero clue as to where to go for a nice dinner. Help!

Any exceptional food to be found in Bellingham? Aside from Mallard for ice cream? (Looking for places pretty much in the city, so not Willows Inn or south on Chuckanut.) Thanks!
