North Whidbey Christian High School provides a solid academic foundation based in Christian principles for students grades 9-12. Located on the campus of Oak Harbor Christian School, NWCHS has been offering Christian high school education to students from the Oak Harbor area since 2006. The school is a member of Christian Schools International and is approved by the state of Washington.
As a small, intimate school, NWCHS offers a unique opportunity for students to explore their full potential. With a low student-teacher ratio, flexible scheduling, and creative learning options, this school opens doors for struggling students while challenging advanced students. NWCHS welcomes both full-time and part-time students, including homeschool students.
NWCHS offers a full high school curriculum, including core classes (mathematics, science, social studies, English) and electives such as art, apologetics, foreign languages, and creative writing. Our independent study program allows students to take sports, music, and similar classes at local public schools. During a student's final year, they complete a vocational study as part of the senior project, including job shadowing and research. Class offerings rotate from year to year
