Company Description

Penn Cove Gallery is the first cooperative art gallery in central Whidbey Island and the longest continuously operating co-op on the island, having served visitors and locals for more than 20 years. It was launched in 1994 when a group of local artists organized a gallery in Coupeville's historic waterfront district. The not-for-profit gallery is administered and staffed by the artist members.

Over the years, visitors and local residents have come to rely on Penn Cove Gallery as a source of art for home decor and gifts. Visitors consistently remark on the caliber of art on display, the helpfulness of the gallery attendants (yes, the artists) and the bright, welcoming atmosphere of the space.

Member artists staff the gallery daily (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's days) and often demonstrate how they create their art. Stop in to see the art and how it's made!
